Fawziya Mirza, OD is an associate optometrist at Levin Eye Care. She graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1992. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She has over 26 years of experience practicing at Maple Lawn Eye Care prior to joining her Levin Eye Care colleagues. She was a consultative optometrist for Hellen Keller’s Child sight program in Baltimore. She is currently a consultant for Vision to Learn, a non-profit organization that provides free eye exams and eyeglasses to underserved children in the Baltimore City public school system. She also serves as a medical director at Versant Health. Dr. Mirza specializes in comprehensive eye care such as the diagnosis, treatment and management of dry eye syndrome, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and other ocular diseases. She practices full scope optometry specializing in the fitting and management of specialty contact lenses for keratoconus, ocular allergies, computer vision syndrome and binocular and accommodative vision issues. In her spare time, Dr. Mirza enjoys travelling, beach trips, hiking and spending quality time with her family.
