Maryzabeth Philip, O.D. is an associate optometrist at Levin Eye Care. She is a local Marylander. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She gained experience in ocular disease, contact lens fitting, and primary eye care during her clinical rotations which included a VA Hospital in Pennsylvania, Katzen Eye Group, The Eye Institute at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and multiple private practice settings.
Prior to joining Levin Eye Care, Dr. Philip mainly worked in primary eye care at White Marsh Eye Care and other private practice settings. She strives to educate her patients about how their systemic health and lifestyle can impact their ocular health. Her hobbies include volunteering, being active, and spending time with her loved ones. Some of her memorable events were to help coordinate a shoe drive as well as a separate clothing drive for a local Baltimore shelter for those who are homeless, in transition, or food insecure by partnering with a local high school as well as connecting with her high school alumni. She continues to look forward to future opportunities to support local shelters, charitable organizations, and encourage others to pay kindness forward.
